Shelby American on Wednesday revealed its first take on the updated 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor range.
The Ford tuner extraordinaire has taken the already capable pickup truck and dialed up the performance to bring it even closer to a Baja desert racing trophy truck, with power ranging from 550 hp to somewhere over 900 hp.
The 550-hp version is based on the standard F-150 Raptor with the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 while the 900-plus-hp version is based on the fire-breathing Raptor R which comes with a supercharged 5.2-liter V-8. The Raptor R already delivers a meaty 720 hp from the factory but to get power over 900 hp, Shelby added a 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, new intake manifold, Borla exhaust, and more.
Shelby has been tuning the F-150 Raptor since 2013, and has used the experience gained over the years to build the new 2024 F-150 Baja Raptor. Beyond the extra power, the company also installed a more robust suspension, upgraded cooling, additional underbody protection, and some styling enhancements.

Key items include a BDS suspension lift kit, a lightweight hood with functional intake, additional driving lights, custom steel bumpers, and custom 18-inch wheels with 37-inch Mud-Terrain tires. The truck actually comes with six of these massive tires, with two mounted on a chase rack in the bed.
The interior gets custom leather seats with red accents, plus lots of Shelby badging, and a dashboard plaque with a serial number entered in the official Shelby Registry.
Shelby hasn’t revealed pricing, but as a guide the company’s take on the regular 2024 F-150 with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 starts at $130,000, with the price rising to $139,995 for the supercharged version tuned to deliver 775 hp.
