- The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQE costs $79,050
The Mercedes-Benz EQE electric sedan gets a handful of updates for the 2025 model year, including a bigger battery pack for certain models.
The EQE 350+ and EQE 500 4Matic receive a 96.0-kwh pack, while the EQE 350 4Matic continues with the 90.6-kwh pack that was standard before. Mercedes also claims improved range from updated cells in both these models and the sportier AMG EQE, although it didn’t specify which size pack that version is getting.
For reference, the single-motor EQE 350+ and dual-motor EQE 500 4Matic currently offer an EPA-rated 298 miles of range with the existing battery pack. That drops to 280 miles for the EQE 350 4Matic and 230 miles for the AMG EQE.

New regenerative braking software, which follows updates to the braking system for the 2024 model year, arrives for 2025. In both the EQE and larger EQS, Mercedes initially tuned its regenerative braking for efficiency, opting for more regen than other automakers. However, that also led to pedal feel that could be imprecise during the last few feet of the stop, as well as lack of feel under hard braking.
Other changes include a new 20-inch wheel design, available headrest pillows, and soft-close doors for non-AMG models. The latter adds a front-center airbag and digital key functionality to its list of standard equipment, as well as a new Manufaktur Moonlight White Metallic paint option.

Output is expected to remain at 288 hp for the single-motor EQE 350+ and dual-motor EQE 350 4Matic, with the dual-motor EQE 400 4Matic dialing up output 536 hp. Also sporting a dual-motor powertrain, the AMG EQE steps things up further to 677 hp and a claimed 3.2-second dash to 60 mph, plus the expected chassis upgrades.
Pricing starts at $79,050 for both the EQE 350+ and EQE 350 4Matic, with the $1,150 destination fee. The EQE 500 4Matic and AMG EQE cost $90,650 and $109,300, respectively.
