The hypercar world has always been about pushing the limits of speed, technology, and aerodynamics. In 2025, manufacturers continue to battle for supremacy, producing some of the fastest street-legal machines ever made. These hypercars combine mind-blowing acceleration with cutting-edge engineering, making them the pinnacle of performance. Here are the five fastest street-legal hypercars of 2025.

Bugatti Bolide – 310+ MPH (Estimated)

Bugatti Bolide

Bugatti continues to redefine speed with the Bolide, a track-focused yet road-legal monster. Powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16, the Bolide produces 1,824 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful hypercars ever built. Its lightweight body, advanced aerodynamics, and aggressive styling allow it to reach a theoretical top speed of 310+ mph. While its full road-legal status in some markets is still under review, select models have been modified to meet regulations, making it one of the fastest hypercars on the streets in 2025.

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut – 310+ MPH (Claimed)

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut

Swedish automaker Koenigsegg remains a dominant force in the hypercar world with the Jesko Absolut. Unlike its track-focused sibling, the Jesko, the Absolut is designed for pure top speed. It features a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates up to 1,600 horsepower on E85 fuel. Thanks to its incredibly low drag coefficient of 0.278 Cd and advanced aerodynamics, Koenigsegg claims that the Jesko Absolut could exceed 310 mph, potentially making it the fastest production car ever—pending an official record run.

Hennessey Venom F5 – 311 MPH (Claimed)

Hennessey Venom F5

Texas-based Hennessey Performance has entered the speed wars with the Venom F5, a hypercar engineered for extreme velocity. It is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8, known as the “Fury” engine, which delivers a staggering 1,817 horsepower. The lightweight carbon fiber chassis and active aerodynamics help the Venom F5 achieve a claimed top speed of 311 mph. Hennessey is planning an official high-speed run in 2025 to validate its record-breaking potential.

Rimac Nevera – 258 MPH

Rimac Nevera

Electric hypercars have entered the high-speed competition, and Rimac Nevera is leading the charge. Unlike traditional hypercars, the Nevera is powered by four electric motors, producing a combined 1,914 horsepower and delivering instantaneous torque. This allows it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 1.74 seconds, making it the quickest production car ever. Its 258 mph top speed sets a new benchmark for EV hypercars, proving that electric power is just as formidable as internal combustion.

SSC Tuatara – 295+ MPH (Tested)

SSC Tuatara

American hypercar manufacturer SSC shocked the world with the Tuatara, a sleek and aerodynamically optimized machine built for outright speed. It boasts a 5.9-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1,750 horsepower on E85 fuel. In a verified test, the Tuatara hit an average speed of 295 mph, making it one of the fastest street-legal cars ever recorded. SSC claims that, under optimal conditions, it could potentially break the 300 mph barrier, cementing its place among the elite hypercars of 2025.
