Prices for the 2027 Chevy Blazer EV now start at over $45,000 after another price hike.
How much does the 2027 Chevy Blazer EV cost?
Chevy’s electric Blazer is back for the 2027 model year, bringing a few updates and a slightly higher starting price.
The base 2027 Chevy Blazer EV LT starts at $45,000, up $300 from last year’s model. Including the $1,795 destination fee, the starting MSRP comes to $46,795.
The sportier 2027 Blazer EV RS also gets a $300 price hike, and now starts at $52,595. Meanwhile, the range-topping SS trim remains at $62,495.
Upgrading to all-wheel-drive (AWD) adds $3,000 for the LT and RS trims, while the SS comes with standard AWD.
The 2027 Chevy Blazer EV LT and RS use an 85 kWh battery pack, offering up to 312 miles of EPA range in the FWD models. AWD models get 283 miles of range. The range-topping SS uses a larger 102 kWh battery that delivers up to 302 miles of range.
Like all new 2027 GM electric vehicles, the Chevy Blazer EV has a native NACS port so drivers can use Tesla Superchargers without a separate adapter.
The new model also offers an optional eight-speaker premium Bose sound system, which was one of the biggest complaints among current drivers.
The premium audio system was previously available on the SS trim, but not the lower-priced Chevy Blazer EV LT and RS models.
Starting at $46,795, the Blazer EV costs more than many competitors, including the Tesla Model Y ($41,380), Toyota bZ ($36,575), and Hyundai IONIQ 5 ($36,900). However, it’s also a bit longer and offers more interior space.

The higher prices come as Chevy Blazer EV sales have dropped nearly 80% since the federal $7,500 tax credit expired last year.
According to Kelley Blue Book, GM sold just 4,427 Chevy Blazer EVs through the third quarter, down 78% from the 20,825 it managed during the same period last year.
