Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear: The Ultimate Track Weapon

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear

The Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear is the latest creation from the Swedish hypercar manufacturer, and it’s arguably the wildest machine they’ve built to date. Based on the Jesko Attack, the Sadair’s Spear is a track-focused tribute to Christian von Koenigsegg’s father, Jesko, and his beloved racehorse named Sadair. Only 30 units will be produced, all of which are already spoken for.

At the heart of the Sadair’s Spear is Koenigsegg’s fearsome 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8. It produces 1,600+ horsepower when running on E85 and over 1,300 horsepower on regular pump gas. This immense power is routed through the brand’s proprietary 9-speed Light Speed Transmission (LST), offering near-instant shifts without the need for a flywheel. The result is brutal acceleration, potentially reaching 0–60 mph in just over two seconds.

But raw power is only part of the story. What sets the Sadair’s Spear apart is its obsessive focus on aerodynamics and weight reduction. Compared to the Jesko, the Sadair’s Spear has been stripped down even further—shedding insulation, using lighter suspension components, and adopting a minimalist cabin layout. It weighs around 3,050 pounds, which is impressive considering the massive downforce it generates.

Speaking of downforce, the design of the Sadair’s Spear is all about track performance. With an aggressive rear wing, revised front canards, and underbody strakes, this hypercar creates nearly 3,900 pounds of downforce at high speeds—more than the car’s own weight. That kind of grip ensures it sticks to the tarmac in ways few cars ever could.

Inside, it’s a purposeful environment. Lightweight carbon fiber bucket seats, a steering wheel with integrated paddle shifters, and just the essentials are present. Despite its hardcore nature, the car still includes some modern touches like a digital display and Apple CarPlay.

Early testing at Gotland Ring shows the Sadair’s Spear lapping faster than the Jesko Attack by over a second—a huge margin in the world of track-focused performance.

In typical Koenigsegg fashion, the Sadair’s Spear isn’t just about numbers. It’s a celebration of engineering, legacy, and the pursuit of perfection on four wheels. For those lucky enough to own one, it represents the bleeding edge of what a modern hypercar can be.
