McLaren is reportedly preparing to enter the performance SUV segment in 2028, and fresh renderings imagine what the British marque’s first SUV could look like.
The renderings translate familiar McLaren styling onto much bigger proportions, and the result looks surprisingly cohesive. There’s an aggressive front end with slim LED headlights and DRLs, sculpted bodywork and several aerodynamic elements.
At the rear, sleek LED taillights sit above dual exhaust outlets and a diffuser integrated into the bumper. The renderings also feature McLaren’s new logo, similar to the branding recently seen on the McL 6GT.
Of course, these images aren’t official and the production P47 could look considerably different.
Known internally as the P47, the upcoming McLaren is expected to feature four doors and five seats. Dealers have reportedly already been shown a model, said to be larger than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.
