All good things come to an end. For better or worse, the iconic Lamborghini Huracan for sale appears to be on its final lap. Introduced back in 2014, the Huracan has become one of the most beloved Lambos in the company’s history, which is certainly no small feat. The upcoming Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica looks set to be the last Huracan edition, and thus far is shaping up to combine the best of both the STO and EVO Huracans.
The STO and EVO were both well-regarded and it’s no surprise they’ve inspired the Tecnica. The Tecnica will feature an aggressive nose in line with the STO while trimming over 20 pounds off the curb weight, compared to the EVO RWD. This model will also feature more downforce than the EVO and considerably less drag too. When it comes to hypercars, aerodynamics can’t be overlooked.
As for the engine, the V10 will crank out more than 630 horsepower, which is quite a bit for a smaller, lighter car. RPMs can high 9,000 and the equipped seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox should uphold Lamborghini’s high standards as far as transmissions are concerned.
The interior is expected to remain much the same as previous Huracan editions. That said, the Lamborghini Huracan’s interior ranks among the best, so that’s a good thing, if anything.
We’ll have to wait and see what comes after the Huracan. Rumor has it that Lamborghini is looking to downside the engine to a twin turbo V8. Shrinking engines have become common but fortunately improving technology often results in more output and speed.
