Xiaomi Auto confirmed it will start selling electric vehicles in Europe, including Germany, in 2027, and it’s already lining up the dealers to sell them. At IFA Berlin today, the Chinese automaker signed memoranda of understanding with eight of Germany’s largest dealer groups. They’re its first retail partners on the continent. Jensen is using its track-focused Interceptor GTX as a preview of something rather different: a road-going grand tourer aimed at the likes of Aston Martin DB12 and Bentley Continental GT. The track car will also serve another purpose. Jensen plans to use it to gauge customer interest before moving ahead with the road-going Interceptor. Unlike the two-seat GTX, the production road car will feature four seats and four doors.
