Schneider Electric launched a new smart Level 2 EV charger in the U.S. and Canada. The Schneider Charge delivers up to 11.5 kW and can be bought with either a NACS or J1772 connector. Range Rover has finally entered the electric era with its first battery-powered version of the flagship SUV. Order books are now open in the US, with prices starting at $138,000. The Range Rover Electric uses two permanent-magnet motors, one on each axle, producing 542 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. I’ve never used a dealership’s charge station, simply because there aren’t any good ones near me. Governor Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) today signed the Garden State Balcony Solar Act, legalizing small, portable solar systems that plug into an ordinary 120-volt outlet.
