Under a new supply agreement, SK On will supply NeoVolta Power with 9 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells from 2027 through 2031. Those cells will be shipped to NeoVolta Power’s factory in Pendergrass, Georgia, where they’ll be assembled into battery energy storage systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects. Norway’s car market got closer than ever to being all-electric in August. Nearly 99% of passenger car sales in the country were EVs last month. Volkswagen and Toyota Norway’s goal is for all passenger car sales to be electric, and it’s now closer than ever. Reigning F1 World Champion Lando Norris has been spotted enjoying some time away from Formula 1 in a rather serious machine. The McLaren driver was seen cruising through Monaco in a green Porsche 911 GT3 RS, complete with golden wheels and that enormous rear wing. Waymo opened up driverless rides in three more cities: San Diego, Tampa, and Denver. The last one is the most notable, since it’s Waymo’s first commercial deployment in a snowy area. So far, autonomous vehicles have mostly operated in the West and South, in cities with temperate climates.
