Bisimoto’s 600 hp electric Rolls-Royce

First seen in the Toyo Tires booth in 2024, Bisi Ezerioha’s converted Roller resurfaced this week at Exotics on Broadway – and the slick, silent running SilvEV Ghost electric restomod has never looked better with a freshened interior and a fresh coat of wax.

Being a bit of a Rolls-Royce obsessive (pre-BMW, obvii) and fan of Bisi’s electric P-cars, as well, I was excited to see the SilvEV Ghost rematerialize on my Insta feed looking fresh as a daisy. You can see what I saw, below:

As the giant, easily excitable car nerd that I am, I immediately reached out to Bisi to try to get more information about the car.

Bisi let me know that the car is based on a 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow sprayed in Chalk White and powered by a custom 600 hp 400V liquid-cooled electric motor with an 18,500 rpm redline. An AEM-developed VCU275 controller with custom Bisimoto-tuned software managing the flow of electrons, which come from the dual Bisimoto Battery boxes packed with 70 kWh’s worth of LG Chem li-ion batteries charged through a CCS connector.

That cooling bit is courtesy of a CSF GT3 center radiator tucked away behind the Silver Shadow’s iconic grille, ahead of a set of compact, dual-pass coolers for the inverter, motor, and battery packs. Accessory electricals are handled by an Antigravity ATX-30HD 12V battery, while an Airride Equipment air bag suspension drop the car over a set of Brixton forged alloy wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes high-performance tires.

A luxurious SOS Customz leather and Alcantara interior topped off with a bespoke wooden steering wheel and SpeedHut CAN EV gauges finish the look.

Bisi’s Silver Ghost Restomod’s next will be at Toyo Tires’ Shutterspace car show later this month in Irvine, California, where the now 600 hp height of 1970’s luxo-cruisers will be rolling low and slow, turning the heads of everyone who knows what they’re looking at. You can see a bit more about that event, above, then let us know what you think of the Roller in the comments section at the bottom of the page.
