Pagani Zonda LM-R Ragno looks like an open cockpit LMP2 racer

If Pagani had entered the Le Mans 24 Hours, their car might have looked like this. It’s called the Pagani Zonda LM-R Ragno. Of course, it’s just a rendering, but it really caught our attention.

As always, LMM Design has been at the top of its game when it comes to digital renderings. The Zonda LM-R Ragno has been in the making for 4 years, and it all started with the idea of creating a Zonda-based speedster.

‘Ragno’ is Italian for ‘Spider’. But unlike the HP Barchetta or R Barchetta, the Ragno doesn’t have a windshield. The super aggressive front end features large intakes and ducts as well as canards on either side. It even gets DTM-inspired fenders, an engine intake scoop and roll hoops giving it that open cockpit LMP2 racer look.

On the interior, LM-R Ragno uses the steering wheel from the Zonda R and Speedster headrests. The car rides on Huayra Tricolore wheels.

At its heart is a 7.3-litre V12 engine that puts out 750 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. It’s the same engine that was plonked in yet another special Zonda – the LM Barchetta.
