Aston Martin Vantage RS to get an open-top Roadster version

Earlier this month, we got our first glimpse of the pre-production Aston Martin Vantage RS through spy images that had surfaced online. Now, another test mule has been spotted, and this one’s a roadster.

The Vantage RS Roadster is likely to get the same upgrades as the coupe. The exterior looks similar too, with a prominent front splitter and a large fixed spoiler with end plates at the back. The Roadster also has more aggressive-looking bumpers and quad exhausts.

While technical details of the new Vantage RS Roadster are still under wraps, the sports car is likely to offer an upgraded version of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in the Vantage RS. Currently, this unit develops 670 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
