Lucid now has two…
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQB electric SUV carries over mostly unchanged, retaining its status as the entry-level EV in Mercedes’s U.S. lineup and the only one sharing a platform with an internal-combustion vehicle. The EQB is a fully electric derivative of the boxy Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class, with smoother styling details that soothe the GLB’s coefficient of drag to 0.28 but sport essentially the same packaging. For 2025 it adds a better-equipped Exclusive grade, including a surround-view camera system, Burmester surround sound with Dolby Atmos, and heated front seats. Also new is a Design Package with different exterior and interior styling cues, and…

Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the president of the FIA, motorsport’s governing body, took to social media last week to propose exploring a variety of technologies for the future of Formula 1 and specifically mentioned the possibility of V-10 engines running on sustainable fuel. “We should consider a range of directions, including the roaring sound of the V-10 running on sustainable fuel,” Ben Sulayem said. “Whichever direction is chosen, we must support the teams and manufacturers in ensuring cost control on R&D expenditure.” His comments followed the F1 75 launch event in London on Feb. 18, a special gathering celebrating the sport’s…
