Rivian’s chief software officer, Wassym Bensaid, took to X to announce the availability of over-the-air upgrades that add power and range to certain versions of the R1S SUV and R1T pickup truck. In a post on Feb. 28, Bensaid revealed that an upgrade for models with the standard Dual-Motor powertrain increases output to the Dual-Motor Performance level, raising horsepower from 533 to 665 hp.
