Kia will unveil the PV7 on September 14 as a larger, more capable sibling to the electric PV5. The PV7 concept was 15–23 inches longer than the PV5, though production dimensions haven’t been confirmed. Schneider Electric launched a new smart Level 2 EV charger in the U.S. and Canada. The Schneider Charge delivers up to 11.5 kW and can be bought with either a NACS or J1772 connector. The connected charger competes with Tesla’s Wall Connector, which needs extra hardware to enable load management.
