Bestselling US e-bike Lectric XP4 relaunched in limited-edition with new colors and gear

The Lectric XP series has become something of an institution in the American electric bicycle market. As the country’s best-selling e-bike lineup, it’s helped put hundreds of thousands of riders on two wheels, largely thanks to its combination of affordable pricing, impressive performance, and practical features. It’s become the go-to electric bike in the US, but that hasn’t made Lectric complacent. Instead, the company is continuing to innovate.

Now, Lectric is giving its flagship XP4 a fresh makeover with three new limited-edition versions, each sporting a unique color and a new collection of accessories and upgrades designed for different types of riders, from urban assault roles to conquering your favorite off-road fishing spots.

The new Lectric XP4 Limited Editions come in three flavors: District, (black) Jubilee (pink), and Ridge (green). Each is priced at $1,399 and includes a 750W motor, upgraded accessories, and a distinctive matte paint job. That’s just a $100 premium over the existing XP 750, yet comes with a whole new host of accessories designed specifically for each special edition model.

So while the underlying bike remains largely unchanged from the bones of the XP 750, the new packages are designed to make the XP4 even more useful straight out of the box.

Three new Lectric XP4 editions, three different lifestyles

The District edition is aimed squarely at urban commuters, sporting a stealthy Matte Black finish and an accessory package designed for daily transportation.

That includes two waterproof pannier bags, a redesigned LevelUp rear cargo rack, a heavy-duty bike lock, and an upgraded high-output headlight. There’s also a fast charger, suspension seat post with comfort saddle, and handlebar phone mount.

It’s essentially a ready-made commuter setup, particularly for riders looking to replace some of their car trips with an e-bike.

The Jubilee edition takes a more casual approach, arriving in a distinctive Matte Thistle colorway. Designed for neighborhood cruising, weekend errands, and trips to the local farmers market, it swaps the commuter-focused panniers for a front and rear cargo package and a small roll-top bag.

It also includes the upgraded headlight, lock, fast charger, suspension seat post, comfort saddle, and phone mount.

Finally, the Ridge edition is built for riders who prefer their adventures a bit farther from the pavement.

Finished in Matte Forest green, the Ridge comes with front and rear cargo accessories for carrying outdoor gear, plus a fishing rod holder on the High-Step version. The Step-Thru model instead receives a weather-resistant roll-top bag.

Like the other two editions, the Ridge also includes the upgraded lighting, lock, charger, and comfort accessories.

“We wanted to deliver ready-made, purpose-built setups that empower our community to jump on and ride without having to configure their gear from scratch,” explained Lectric co-founder and CEO Levi Conlow.

Conlow also seems particularly proud of the new finishes, calling them the three best paint jobs Lectric has produced in its seven-year history.

Same Lectric XP4 underneath

While the new colors and accessory bundles are the main attraction, the bikes retain the same core features that helped make the XP4 such a popular choice.

That includes Lectric’s in-house developed dynamic torque sensor, which measures how hard the rider pedals to deliver a more natural-feeling electric assist experience.

The bikes also feature hydraulic disc brakes, an 8-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain, and a full-color TFT display.

As with the standard XP4, riders get the familiar folding frame design, integrated turn signals and brake lights, and 20-inch puncture-resistant mixed-terrain tires.

All three limited editions are available in both High-Step and Step-Thru frame configurations.

At $1,399, the new models aren’t trying to reinvent the XP4 formula. Instead, they’re offering a more fully equipped version of a bike that has already proven itself with American riders.

And that’s probably a smart move. Lectric has built its reputation on delivering an impressive amount of e-bike for the money, and bundling useful accessories into a relatively affordable package plays right into that strategy.

The limited-edition models are available now, though Lectric says quantities are strictly limited.

For riders who have been considering an XP4 but wanted something a bit more distinctive than the standard colors, these new editions could be a compelling reason to finally pull the trigger.

And for those looking to score an even better deal, Lectric has also officially kicked off its Black Friday sale.

The company is calling it its biggest sale of the year, with some of its lowest prices ever and discounts of up to $800 across its lineup.

So whether you’re eyeing one of the new limited-edition XP4 models or another e-bike in Lectric’s extensive catalog, now could be a particularly good time to buy.
