The 2027 Toyota bZ is now on sale, starting at $34,980 in the US and CA$45,985 in Canada.

2027 Toyota bZ prices and range by trim

After introducing the updated 2026 bZ last year, Toyota’s electric SUV suddenly became one of the most popular electric vehicles in the US.

Toyota improved it in the areas that matter most to drivers: longer driving range, more power, a refined interior, and an added NACS charge port.

The bZ was America’s fourth top-selling EV in the first half of the year. For the 2027 model year, Toyota is keeping prices about the same, starting at $34,980. With the $1,595 delivery fee, prices start at $36,576.

That’s for the base 2027 Toyota bZ XLE FWD with an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 236 miles. Upgrading to the FWD Plus model, with a range of up to 314 miles, costs $37,980 (excluding delivery fee).

Like the current model, the 2027 Toyota bZ will be available in XLE and Limited trims with Front Wheel Drive (FWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD).

It’s offered with two battery packs: 57.7 kWh and 74.7 kWh. The base XLE FWD uses the 57.7 kWh battery, while the XLE AWD and FWD Plus, Limited AWD, and FWD models use the 74.7 kWh battery.

FWD models deliver either 165 hp (XLE FWD) or 221 hp (XLE FWD Plus and Limited FWD), while AWD models produce a combined 338 hp.

The bZ has a built-in NACS charge port, enabling drivers to access Tesla Superchargers without an adapter.

It takes around 30 minutes to recharge from 10% to 80%. The electric SUV now also has battery preconditioning to improve charging performance in cold weather, as well as Plug & Charge to simplify the payment process.

Inside, the 2027 bZ features Toyota’s updated interior design. The setup includes a new 14″ Toyota Audio Multimedia display screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

It also includes a dual Qi wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, a top-mount Multi-Information Display (MID), and a 7″ customizable instrument cluster as standard.

A six-speaker sound system is standard, while a premium nine-speaker JBL system is optional on the Limited grade model.

Upgrading to the Limited trim gains 20″ alloy wheels, a panoramic fixed-glass moonroof, heated rear seats, SofTex-trimmed seating, and a digital rearview mirror.

The 2027 Toyota bZ will begin arriving at dealerships across the US in September.

In Canada, the 2027 Toyota bZ is now on sale, starting at CA$45,985. It’s available in three grades, also with the choice of front- or all-wheel drive.
