It’s been a while since customer deliveries of the limited-edition BMW Skytop began. The handover ceremony of one of the first cars took place in June this year, and recently, the first British customer took delivery of his exclusive BMW.
Images of the UK’s first BMW Skytop come courtesy of Topaz Detailing. The customer got the car shipped straight to the studio to get a paint protection film installed. Hopefully, we will see it on streets soon.

The BMW Skytop was unveiled as a concept at the 2024 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Customers loved it so much that BMW decided to build 50 examples and priced it at around $580,000.
The Skytop features a bespoke exterior finished in a two-tone colour combination. The wheels are also unique to this car. Two leather-wrapped panels make up the targa-style roof, and the interior is trimmed in matching leather.

Underneath is a BMW M8. It uses a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system.
