Porsche has dropped another teaser of the Mission S concept. The latest video shows a glimpse of the car’s instrument cluster, which reminds us of the one in the Carrera GT.
The Mission S concept will spawn a new supercar, details of which are still unclear. However, we do know that it will be the brand’s new flagship and a spiritual successor to the Carrera GT and 918 Spyder.
The gauge cluster has the tachometer in the centre, while the speedometer is on the left hand side. It has three drive modes: Normal, Sport and Track. Also, note that the tacho goes all the way to ‘8’. Is this another hint to the flat-8 engine?
Reports suggest that Porsche’s new supercar, codenamed ‘S1’, will be powered by an all-new 8-cylinder boxer engine. We were unable to confirm it, as there’s very little information in the public domain. More details will be available once the concept is showcased to the public on October 15.
