Kia will unveil the PV7 on September 14 as a larger, more capable sibling to the electric PV5. Range Rover has finally entered the electric era with its first battery-powered version of the flagship SUV. Order books are now open in the US, with prices starting at $138,000. The Range Rover Electric uses two permanent-magnet motors, one on each axle, producing 542 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. I’ve never used a dealership’s charge station, simply because there aren’t any good ones near me. They’re almost all Level 2 charging, which isn’t exactly helpful, as I’m not going to leave a car at a dealership for hours. However, according to WXYZ (h/t to The Drive) Michigan resident Stanley Kpenkann was driving home in a rented Chevy Bolt and was running low on battery, down to his last 20 minutes.
